The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Uhlenkamp can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Sharon Tyman
Condolence: Marlene, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Don was truly a remarkable person. He could brighten up my day with just a phone call. I would instantly smile when I saw his name come up on my phone at work. I can't even remember a time when he was not smiling. He loved life, loved spending time with you, his family, and friends. He will be greatly missed. Hold on to your memories and he will never truly be gone. He is with the Lord now, smiling down upon you (and maybe getting in a quick game of golf!).

Condolence: I first got to know Don when we worked together at 3M. It didn't take long to realize that Don was always full throttle ahead For the last number of years, Don, Lyle, Dale Haugejorden and myself would meet and golf at Sauk Centre. As Don was 13 yrs older than me, I thought I would be able to beat him! For a person that told me yrs ago "I can't believe a person would chase a little white ball around a pasture", he fell in love with the game. I never did beat Don, So maybe in the next life I will get my chance. To Marlene, Kevin, Lori and all of Don's family, Deb and myself send our deepest sympathy. We will never forget Don and we were Blessed to have been able to call him "Friend".
