Marian M. (Sitter) Nichols, age 86, was born December 25, 1931 to Nick and Helen Sitter in Granville, ND. Marian lived, raised her family, and was very active in the Northeast Minneapolis community, including St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, for most of her adult life (67 years). She moved on to eternal life on November 3, 2018 at Eldercare on Main, her home for the past six years.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Charles; her son, Darrell; grandson, Justin Miller; her parents; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.

She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Larry) Siebert, Deborah Dahlberg, Phyllis (John) Kutzke; son, Brian (Barb) Nichols; as well as 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 more due in 2019; and brother, Mike Sitter.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 with visitation beginning at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel of Catholic Eldercare. A light lunch will follow in the dining area of The Eldercare Center. Burial ceremony at Hillside Cemetery.
