Age 80 of Minneapolis, passed away December 8, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Simon & Ida; siblings, Annette George, Charlie George & Barbara Hanson. Survived by wife of 53 years, Joanne; siblings, Rose Jensen, Charlene (Mel) Abundis & Darlene (Ed) Rice; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. John was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time with his nieces & nephews. Liturgy of Resurrection at ST. MARON MARONITE CATHOLIC CHURCH (602 University Ave. NE) Thursday at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery.
