Obituary for Daniel Michael Miscko

Daniel Michael Miscko of Spring Lake Park, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018, at the age of 67.

Daniel was born to parents Patrick and Dorothy Miscko on May 7th, 1951, in Minneapolis, MN, at the Swedish hospital. He grew up as the middle child of three siblings. Daniel graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1969. In July, 1970, he joined the U.S Army Reserve and in March 1976 he was discharged with the Marksman Rifle Badge honor.

In Daniel’s free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake with friends and family. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan since the age of 10. Dan was known for his witty remarks, generosity, and love for his family.
Daniel is survived by partner, Laurie Erickson; sons, Shayne Daniel Miscko (Van) and Dustin Michael Miscko; grandchildren, Brett Loban (Kirsten), Danicka Miscko (Adam), Victoria Miscko, Michael Miscko, and Milana Miscko; aunt, Carol Pendzimas; niece, Tessa Kasanowski.

Preceded in death by parents; Patrick and Dorothy, sister, Bunny, and brother Michael.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6th, at 10:30 AM, at the Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel located at 1918 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Following the service there will be a reception at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, prefer memorial donations to the Kennedy’s Disease Association.
